I remember an Isaac Asimov's novel : Robot dreams that I read many years ago. This book included many stories in it. In one of them, "The Strikebreaker", Asimov has imagined a big asteroid on which a human colony is very confortable.

Asimov is really great. Although I think he shouldn't have made the books "foundations edge" and "foundation and earth"
